Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Intern focused on generating real revenue, not passive learning.

Your primary responsibility is to identify businesses that need digital solutions (websites, e-commerce, SEO, or custom systems) and convert them into paying clients.

This role requires daily outreach, handling rejection, and working towards clear targets. If you are not comfortable with this, do not apply.

What You Will Be Selling

You will be promoting the following services:

  1. Business websites (WordPress / Next.js)
  2. E-commerce stores (Shopify)
  3. SEO services (audits + monthly growth)
  4. Custom web/mobile solutions (Laravel / React Native)

You are not expected to be technical, but you must understand the value:

  1. helping businesses get more customers, automate operations, and grow online.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify potential clients (small businesses, clinics, shops, online sellers)
  2. Reach out via WhatsApp, Instagram, calls, and other platforms
  3. Start conversations and understand business needs
  4. Qualify leads and identify opportunities
  5. Schedule meetings for closing
  6. Follow up consistently until conversion or rejection
  7. Maintain daily tracking of all outreach and responses

Daily Activity Targets

Performance is measured strictly against the following daily benchmarks:

Compensation & Growth

  1. Base Allowance: LKR 15,000 per month.
  2. Commission: Generous incentives for every closed deal.
  3. Bonuses: Performance-based rewards for consistently hitting activity targets.
  4. Career Path: High performers have the opportunity to transition into a full-time Business Development role.

Candidate Requirements

  1. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills in English (Sinhala/Tamil is a plus).
  2. Mindset: Self-disciplined, target-driven, and comfortable engaging with strangers.
  3. Technical Literacy: Basic familiarity with WhatsApp, Instagram, and Google Sheets.
  4. Preferred: Prior experience in sales, customer service, or running a small business.

Performance Evaluation

Your success will be evaluated based on daily consistency, the volume of qualified leads generated, and ultimately, deals closed. Consistent underperformance regarding activity levels will result in a formal review and potential termination.
