The problem we solve

Great agencies lose on delivery.

You win the client. Then the real challenge starts — finding reliable technical people to actually build what was promised.

Freelancers disappear mid-project

No accountability, no continuity. Every project starts from zero and relies on someone new.

Margins shrink on every project

Delays, rework, and hidden vendor costs eat into what should have been a healthy profit.

Quality is impossible to control

When five different vendors build five different projects, there is no standard and no consistency.

Turning down projects you could win

Without reliable technical delivery, the best clients — the ones who need software — pass you by.

How the partnership works

A dedicated team built around your agency.

This is not a project-by-project vendor relationship. Throughout becomes the technical arm of your agency — a team that grows with you, understands your clients, and is accountable to your standards.

01

You bring the projects and client relationships

Throughout wins client engagements — websites, apps, platforms, automations. You manage the commercial relationship, the brief, and the client expectations.

02

We build and manage your dedicated technical team

Throughout hires, employs, and manages a development team exclusively for your agency. Developers, QA engineers, and designers who work only on your projects. No shared pools. No split attention.

03

The team delivers the full software lifecycle

Requirements gathering, system architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. Your clients get a complete technical delivery. You stay focused on growth.

04

Transparent financials every month

You receive a full monthly report: every developer's hours, every cost, every invoice, and the profit split calculation. You also have read access to our project management tools in real time.

05

The team grows as your volume grows

As workload increases, we proactively identify when additional resources are needed and hire with your acknowledgment. New team members are aligned to your contract period. The team is yours to scale.

What's included

Everything technical. Handled.

A full-stack delivery capability embedded into your agency — without the overhead of running an engineering team.

Full software development lifecycle

From discovery and requirements through to deployment and post-launch support. We own the entire technical delivery so you don't have to manage the pieces.

Dedicated team — exclusively yours

Your developers work only on your agency's projects. They attend your standups, understand your clients' codebases, and build long-term domain expertise on your stack.

Project management and reporting

Task tracking, sprint planning, weekly delivery updates, and a monthly financial report. You always know the status of every project and every rupee spent.

Recruitment and HR managed by us

Throughout handles hiring, employment contracts, payroll, EPF/ETF, and all HR compliance. You carry zero employer liability for the technical team.

Full IP ownership for your clients

All code, designs, and systems built for your clients belong entirely to those clients. Throughout retains no intellectual property from client work.

Scale up as workload grows

When your project pipeline grows, we identify the need before capacity runs out and hire with your acknowledgment. The team expands with your business, not after it.

Open book model

You see everything. No exceptions.

Most outsourcing relationships hide the cost structure. Throughout is built on the opposite principle — complete financial transparency is not a feature, it's the foundation of how we work.

  • Monthly itemised report — every developer's salary, every expense, every tool cost, and the full profit split calculation
  • Real-time access to our CRM and task board so you can see what every developer is working on, right now
  • Developer timesheet logs included in every monthly report — hours billed per project, utilisation rate, and bench time
  • Audit right — you can request a full audit of Throughout's books related to your partnership with 30 days notice
  • Joint salary decisions — every new hire's salary range is agreed between both parties before an offer is made

Who this is for

Built for agencies with ambition and no technical team.

This partnership works best for a specific kind of agency. If you recognise your business below, we should talk.

Digital marketing agencies

You excel at strategy, campaigns, and client relationships. When a client needs a platform or web application built, you want to say yes — not scramble.

Creative and design agencies

You design experiences that clients love. Now you need an engineering team that can actually build what you've designed — to the standard you've promised.

Branding and communication agencies

Your clients trust you with their brand. When that brand needs a digital presence — a website, an app, a system — you need technical delivery you can stand behind.

Growth and performance agencies

You drive results through data and experimentation. A dedicated tech team means you can build the tools, dashboards, and platforms your growth strategies actually require.

Partnership terms

Simple, transparent, and built to last.

The commercial structure is designed to align our incentives with yours — we grow when you grow.

Commercial structure

Revenue-share model, net profit basis

  • 60% net profit to your agency. After all team costs and allowable expenses are deducted, sixty percent of net revenue goes to you.
  • 40% net profit to Throughout. Our share covers management, recruitment, and company operations.
  • All allowable costs shared transparently — salaries, EPF/ETF, tools, hosting, office overhead — deducted before the split, fully documented.
  • Monthly settlement. You receive an invoice from Throughout for their 40% share within 7 days of the monthly report. Net 14 payment terms.

Partnership agreement

Long-term, clear, and fair to both sides

  • One-year initial term with automatic renewal, unless either party provides 60 days notice of non-renewal.
  • 90-day early termination notice to protect team stability and allow proper project handover.
  • Workload fluctuation protocol — a written three-stage plan for managing periods of reduced project volume fairly.
  • Mutual non-solicitation — neither party can approach the other's staff or clients for one year after the agreement ends.
  • Governed by Sri Lankan law. Disputes resolved by negotiation first, then Sri Lankan courts.
Common questions

Things agencies usually ask us.

A partnership only works when both sides go in with clear expectations.

Who owns the code built for our clients?

+

The client owns all intellectual property — all code, designs, systems, and documentation created during the engagement. Neither Throughout nor your agency retains any ownership over client-commissioned work. IP assignment is handled at the point of project delivery.

What happens if a developer on our team leaves?

+

Throughout manages all employment matters. If a developer resigns, we initiate replacement hiring immediately. During the transition, bench costs are managed according to the agreed workload protocol. You are not left without coverage and you are not responsible for recruitment — that's our job.

What if our project volume decreases after a few months?

+

This is one of the most common real-world scenarios and it's addressed in writing before the partnership starts. We have a three-stage protocol: during the first 30 days of reduced volume, the team continues and bench time is productively used for training. Between 30 and 60 days, both parties negotiate a cost-sharing arrangement. Beyond 60 days, a formal review takes place and the team structure can be adjusted. No surprises — everything is agreed in advance.

Can our team communicate directly with the developers?

+

For all project work — standups, task tracking, technical discussions, delivery updates — yes, your team communicates directly with the development team. For employment matters, compensation, performance, and HR issues, all communication goes through Throughout's account manager. This protects both the developers and the integrity of the partnership structure.

How are salaries decided for the dedicated team?

+

Salary ranges for every role are agreed jointly between your agency and Throughout before any offer is made. This ensures the cost structure is transparent and that you are not surprised by expenses. Throughout handles the actual employment, payroll, and statutory contributions — but the agreed bands are visible to you.

How many partnership slots do you have available?

+

We are currently accepting applications for 3 to 4 agency partnerships. We deliberately limit the number of partners to ensure every agency gets a truly dedicated team — not a shared resource pool. If you are interested, we recommend reaching out early to discuss fit before slots are filled.
